Bus and Bird Arts is a small Participatory Arts organisation based in Mansfield in the East Midlands, UK set up by Clare Taylor in 2016. We are passionate about championing learning and creativity within communities. Bus and Bird Arts engages & inspires people through the provision of tailor made creative experiences.

Bus and Bird Arts designs experiences to develop creativity in all ages and abilities. Projects allow people to kick-start their creativity or build upon existing skills. An experienced Community Arts Coordinator, Clare has twenty years practice in designing & delivering bespoke creative learning sessions for a broad spectrum of participants from pre-schoolers through to professional adults. Clare Taylor has co-ordinated the work of teams of specialists, non-specialist staff, artists and volunteers. She has worked on Heritage Lottery projects (both as project manager and lead artist), an audience development project funded by Museum Development East Midlands (MDEM) and is currently working on a National Lottery Community Fund project with local partner schools. Projects and workshops are devised in association with the relevant community groups and effective evaluation, monitoring and safeguarding processes are built into the planning.
