Tom Dale Company, is an award-winning, touring contemporary dance company based in Nottingham. We have an international reputation for cutting-edge dance, combining projection mapping and digital art and electronic music.

We are delighted to offer Contemporary Dance, Movement & VR and Choreography workshops that complement our performance programme. We also can provide bespoke CPD training for primary school teachers.

Our innovative and unique education and participation programmes are led by experienced professional dancers who are able to differentiate between the varying needs and abilities within groups, allowing everyone to feel included and reach their full potential. Tom Dale Company has vast experience of working with participants of all ages and abilities.

Our workshops are engaging, empowering and help students build confidence to express themselves physically.

The experience will allow your students to:

• Work closely with an award-winning company
• Learn exciting movement/repertoire from SURGE
• Develop their technical and creative movement skills in a nurturing, supportive environment.
• Engage in fun and interesting creative tasks and improvisations
• Learn new choreographic skills and how to devise material
• Move in new ways with new intentions and build physical confidence
• Experience and dance to the original music from SURGE composed by Ital Tek (most recently he created the original soundtrack for BBC’s Top Gear)
