Established in 1997, MBD is an award-winning National Portfolio Organisation (NPO) dedicated to the creation of arts experiences using immersive technology and its integration with traditional storytelling and characterisation. Much of our work focuses on socially important issues, and highlights underrepresented voices. It is shared as both live experiences, and digital only experiences for audiences worldwide. Outputs include large scale building projection, interactive Virtual Reality (VR) experiences, immersive films and Augmented Reality (AR) trails.

Our participation and outreach programme works with schools, youth centres, local authorities and the wider arts community to create exciting immersive projects and activities for all to enjoy..
