The Creative Arts learning offer at The Collection and Usher Gallery is wide ranging and links to the main exhibitions and events. We have a variety of offers to choose from which can be found, along with case studies, on our Investigate Learning website – www.investigatelearning.com.

The Investigate learning team support learning in the creative arts in the following ways:

Workshop Experiences link to the permanent and temporary exhibitions and enable students to explore the exhibition and create their own responses. The sessions are designed to encourage creative thinking, decision making and the development of practical skills.

Guided Experiences have a more specific focus upon an exhibition or theme and stimulate discussion and engagement.

Partnership Project work aims to support students with their project or examination work by having an external client and brief to work towards.

Participants in the Creative Arts workshops are also given the opportunity to exhibit art work in the Usher Gallery alongside temporary exhibitions.
