The Leicester / Leicestershire Music Hub is one of the region’s busiest Music Hubs and the website has tons of resources, information and ideas for schools, colleges and individuals to get involved in music.
During the pandemic, Leicester/shire Schools Music Service (LSMS) offered daily music making sessions aimed at young people during schools closures. The sessions are still on their website and are a fantastic resource.
The YouTube sessions are led by highly skilled LSMS tutors and topics include Ukelele & Guitar; Homemade Percussion; Singing (for assemblies); Beatboxing; Pitch, Dynamics, Tempo & Timbre (for littlies) and even sessions on Body Percussion!
