MADE is Manchester’s Local Cultural Education Partnership and the ‘MADEMCR’ website is full of ideas, activities, opportunities and projects that will help young people access creativity and realise some of their ambitions.
Digit Music is a MADE partner organisation and is a record label, a digital instrument manufacturer and a creative learning and performance company. Digit uses technology as a creative instrument, supporting people of all abilities and disabilities to realise their musical potential.
The company’s work covers everything from song writing, performing and producing to artist management, sales, website design and tour booking. If a young person you know is interested in a career in music, then there are lots of ways for them to explore their options, including studying at a college or university, taking an apprenticeship or internship or getting involved with local music groups or creating music at home – or at school – to share. There is no one fixed path!
