Soft Touch Arts is a well-established and highly regarded participatory arts organisation based in Leicester that runs a year-round programme of creative activities and projects that reach young people across the city, county and region.
‘2020 Vision’ is a virtual art exhibition of young people’s work reflecting the pandemic and created over the course of that whole year.
Soft Touch is immensely proud of the work created by local young people who showed incredible strength and resilience. They had the ability to focus on taking each day as it came, whilst also being able to have the foresight to understand how their sacrifices would benefit the community as a whole.
The ‘2020 Vision’ exhibition was created within this context, highlighting how young people are able to live in the moment, through art, whilst making sacrifices for the future.
