TBP is based in Bristol and creates family theatre which offers engaging and stimulating theatrical experiences for both adults and children. The company aims to inspire communities who may not have access to theatre with topical stories, a bold physical language and a few puppets along the way and always puts children at the heart of its work. They encourage creativity, inclusive play and a sense of adventure.
TBP has recently made a brand new, online, interactive audio adventure called The Anarchist’s Mobile Library. It’s an adaptation of a popular live show the company created in 2019. With this new digital version, families are able to journey on adventures to far flung places from wherever they choose, immersing themselves in a detailed sound design. TBP has also received a commission from The Library Presents to create a D/deaf accessible, BSL version of this project for ages 6+, which premiered at the end of November and encourages trainee anarchist librarians to think about how they can change the endings they see in the world!
The company also offers online puppetry workshops open to performers, teachers, parents (or even as an unusual Christmas present idea!)
